Sited on a steep hill, the 5,900 sq-ft house opens outwards to the view of the San Francisco Bay, and nestles into the hillside to shelter a courtyard with a pool facing the northside. The residence includes a living room, kitchen-dining area, and master bedroom with a roof, that follows the sloped patterns of the hillside.

Loisos and Ubbelohde provided energy modeling and consulting on passive and active strategies for thermal comfort and energy generation
